This is available up to three days from the time of intercourse but the earlier seen the better. Please tell the receptionist if you require this service. Confidentiality will be respected.

Dietician

The dietician can be contacted at the Community Reception desk on 01506 630771.  The referral is by one of the doctors or nurse.

Diabetes

People with diabetes are reviewed regularly by the Practice Nurse. If you have not been checked within the last 12 months please make an appointment with the Practice Nurse on 01506 655155.

Community Psychiatric Nurse

The CPNs deal mainly with anxiety and depression. A referral is by one of the doctors. The CPN can be contacted via the Community Reception desk on 01506 630771.

Community Drug Problem Service (CDPS)

Referrals are made by a doctor. Follow up will be arranged through the clinic and drug supervision clinics.

Childhood Immunisation

Your child will be invited to attend for Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Meningitis C, Polio, HIB and MMR at appropriate ages. These clinics are run by the Health Visitor on Tuesday mornings.

Cervical Smears

Women aged 25 – 64 years of age are advised to have 5 yearly checks. Please make an appointment with the Practice Nurse.

Baby and Child Surveillance Clinics

These appointments are pre-arranged by the practice. A letter will be sent with a date and time to attend. If the appointment isn’t suitable, please call the practice on 01506 655155 to re-arrange.

Asthma Clinic

Ante-Natal Care

Ante natal care and advice is available from the community midwife. Appointments can be made for her at the Community desk or by phoning 01506 630771.
