A service to provide a complete 24 hours medical cover is provided in association with NHS 24.
This service is for genuine emergencies only and should not be abused. Patients will be asked to attend OPD2 at St John’s Hospital (next to A & E). This is in operation on Mondays to Thursdays at 6.00 pm in the evening until 8.00 am the following morning. Friday 6.00 pm to 8.00 is on Monday. Out of hours, the telephone number is 111 (free-phone). The NHS 24 website is www.nhs24.com.
Normal service is available at all other times.

If You are experiencing a life threatening Medical Emergency please phone 999.
If you have an emergency during normal practice hours (8 am – 6 pm), please phone reception on 01506 655155 and a doctor will speak to you.
If you have an emergency outwit normal practice hours (6 pm – 8 am and weekends) please phone NHS 24 on 111.
