For all Telephone Consultations With Doctors and Practice Nurses
- Please ensure you give the correct contact number to the receptionist when booking your telephone consultation.
- Ensure you are near the phone within the allocated 30-minute time slot
- Please note that this is an appointment and if you fail to answer the phone within the timescale, you will need to make an alternative appointment.
Doctors
Telephone consultations are now available throughout the day and you will be asked when making an appointment if you require this instead of a face to face one. The reception staff will take your details and a GP will phone you back within 30 minutes of the appointed time that you will be given.
Practice Nurses
Telephone consultations are also available for the practice nurses throughout the day. These can be booked in the same way as above for the doctors.
Health Visitor
Always phone 01506 630771 to speak to a health visitor. If she is not available, a message can be left for her at the Community Desk.
District Nurses
Always phone 01506 630771 to speak to a district nurse. If no-one is available, a message can be left for the team at the Community Desk.
